Do not always dumb it down for the user, but remember the amount of thinking that goes into deciphering a certain design or type should have comparable impact that justifies the effort and intellect of the user. The climax should justify the build up.
“If you can show something, don’t write it” Another gem from the discussions with Orijit Sen, and extremely important in the context of comics. Comics are, primarily, a visual medium, and hence the more the reader sees rather than reads, makes the work all the more engaging.
Also, like most paradigms in the world, Design is circular in fashion, it repeats, and circles back, maybe not with the same face but with some recognizable features; this aspect of Design is quite universal unlike other unique features.
Appreciate what is accurate and done well. Identify what is done incorrectly. And explain what can be done in order to enhance
the work.
"Don’t make perfection enemy of good,” There are instances wherein you’ve done a decent job, it meets the requirement, but you feel you can put an icing on the cake or refine it further. In those times you’ve got to analyze whether it’ll be worth the time and effort.
It is an experience blurred in memory because of the speed at which things ran, and yet something I’d like to do again. Maybe pause at times a little more, zoom into the faces of the people, imagine their stories, feel the vibe and the energy, and
feed from it.

If you clear the entrance, or not, either ways you’ll have some sort of fun in answering their questions over the prelims and/or studio test. They don’t want to fit you in a mold, rather they want you to showcase your own self.
There is no dearth of colours and flavours in such a space. With different seasons, the multitude of colours pass on representation but definitely maintain
their presence.
An artist finds beauty in the ordinary. But what if the (extra)ordinary just demands extra observation, or even at times, exaggeration and romanticization.
